Do you want to live well and live healthier? Stay independent?

Our #2020vision is to help improve the health of the people of Peterborough and surrounding area to improve their health and wellbeing by becoming more physically active.  One of the measures we can use to test your fitness and wellbeing is grip strength.  Grip strength is a associated and a predictor of mortality, recovery post hip surgery, risk of cardiovascular, respiratory and cancer outcomes………the list goes on…….………

Why not come and attend one of our “get a grip” events in January 2020?

Come and have your grip strength tested (for free) by one of our in house Chartered Physiotherapists?  You can also then discuss with our Physio what may be currently affecting this and look at solutions to help improve your health and wellbeing in 2020.  The ability to become physically active may, for example, be limited currently by pain, mobility, flexibility or confidence to get moving in a way that will maximise strength gain.  We can help you overcome these barriers by collaborating with you to understand what these may be and help formulate a programme to start breaking them down.  End product is a fitter, stronger and healthier you. Think of it as investing in your physical pension.  Investing in your own bank account of muscular strength, ready and waiting for the time you need an extra boost of strength, often when we least expect it. All supported by the best scientific evidence out there to support what we are doing here at Prestons Health.
